Hello! We’re Valerie and John. We’ve always had a desire to travel, so when we got the chance to move to a small Pacific island in 2015 we jumped on it! That’s when OurFernweh was created. We wanted to share our experience living on the island of Saipan.

Now that we’re back in the states, our passion for exploring new places remains. We continue to learn about different cultures, discover new foods, and explore this beautiful planet. We hope to share our experiences with whoever finds OurFernweh.
